The following is a snapshot of our progression in Q2. We hope you’ll enjoy reading and pass on the news, as it’s worth sharing.
BitBoy Bitverse Series 1
Q2 kicked off with BitBoy Bitverse Series 1 collectibles. This heroic band of misfits and dastardly villains took the WAX community by storm and inspired collectors to grab 9,000 packs and 150,000 NFTs as quickly as possible. Major League Baseball made its NFT debut on April 20. The collection featured 74,090 packs and just over 1.38 million cards, all of which sold out in less than an hour.
Something tells us that the release was so epic that even the Great Bambino would’ve been proud. Speaking of which — keep reading to discover how The Babe snuck his way into the WAX blockchain by the end of Q2.

Weezer x RAREZ OK Crypto Series 1
On a melodic note, April 28 brought the fan-favorite OK Crypto collection to life. Starring the band Weezer, the collection consists of 8,000 packs and 125,000 NFTs to celebrate their newest album OK Human.
The collection includes 12 ultra-rare “Golden Tickets” that are redeemable for a physical toy by famed toy artist Dan Polydoris.
This is an example of what’s to come with WAX’s vIRL® (virtual + In Real Life) technology. They allow collectors to digitally own an item (as an NFT) and then trade, gift, or claim the physical item in real life.
