As many of you may fondly remember, Funimation and Harmony Gold released Robotech NFTs in May of this year. The collection was such a hit that the powers are gearing up to release all-new Robotech Starter Packs.
We’re talking loads of nostalgia and fun coming your way. The collection will harness the 1985 anime wonder that made us all fall in love with Robotech in the first place.
If you’re a Robotech fan and are new to NFTs, this is an incredible opportunity to dip your toes into the “digital collectibles pool” and walk away with a stunning piece of Robotech history.
What Can Fans Collect?
On July 22, 2021 at 1 pm EST, Robotech Starter Packs will officially go on sale. There is no time limit or quantity cap on this release, so the fun will never end.
Seven (7) rarities are just waiting to be collected and include:
- Base
- Bronze
- Bronze (charged)
- Silver
- Silver (charged)
- Gold
- Gold (charged)
There will be no crafting in Robotech Starter Packs, which is a deviation from the initial release. Instead of leveling up from power level one (1) to power level five (5), the power level will be assigned at the moment the NFT is minted.
Standard (Base, Bronze, Silver, or Gold) will automatically be assigned a power level of one (1). On the flip side, the “charged” cards (Bronze Charged, Silver Charged, or Gold Charged) will automatically be assigned a power level of five (5).
“Charged” cards feature a striking lightning bolt effect around their border — offering intriguing and powerful visuals that look amazing in any collection.
You never know what you’re going to get in a pack, which makes it all so much fun. May luck be on your side!

Robotech Starter Packs feature a single pack size, contain three (3) NFTs, and will retail for $9.99.
As mentioned above, there’s no time limit or cap on how many packs you can purchase. You have the power to buy them all at once, or scatter your purchases over the next few months.

Pre-Minting
The first 10,000 Robotech Starter Packs will contain pre-minted NFTs. Whether you open your packs immediately or two years from now, the odds of receiving lower mints won’t diminish from the time of purchase.
