What is Meta Battler?
Meta Battler is a deck-building rogue-like game that bridges the worlds of collectibles and gaming in a bold and exciting way. Built by long-time WAX creators, Ultra Rare, Meta Battler is truly game-changing, doing something no other blockchain game has done before — every NFT ever created on WAX will be playable in the game!
Stat points are assigned to each NFT template ID randomly, so no one knows how powerful an NFT will be until they upload it. So it’s time to dust off your Horrors, your Blockchain Brawlers and your Garbage Pail Kids, plug them in, and start battling!
Every NFT, Every Player
What’s even more mind-blowing is that every NFT created from this point on will be assigned attributes automatically. This means not only every Funko, Streetfighter or GPK can be used in-game, but every NFT you create can be used in Meta Battler also.
Within this uniquely designed rogue-like deck-builder, you’ll need to win and utilise our in-game token Meta Battler Points to power up your decks and defeat ever more difficult opponents.
Choose either PVE or PVP and conquer leaderboards to have the chance at winning awesome art and rare collectible prizes.
Eventually, you may become the ultimate Meta Battler champion!
Unlocking NFT Potential
While Meta Battler will essentially be free-to-play, we’ll be releasing a brand new kick-ass collection of superheroes, which will be the ultimate way to play the game. Inspired by nineties comic art, Meta Battler series 1 is illustrated by Ultra Rare’s team of in-house comic artists, including Ultra Rare’s lead artist, Macauley Etherington (The Horrors, Leatherfaces), JP Vilchis (FutureQuake, Dynamite Entertainment), Mark Dinsdale (Rick and Morty) and the creator of Marvel’s War Machine, the legendary, Kev Hopgood. All animation is the work of the supremely talented Ben Watson (Top Boy).
Of course, Ultra Rare collectors will benefit more than any other — we’ve built this platform with them firmly in mind — but we’ll offer multipliers and boosts to valued collaborator collections.
