WAX’s first true “Metaverse” game brings PFPs into the fold! — Apex NFT is excited to share an update that benefits the entire WAX Community & is built to expand — Collaboration Commanders!
With our Collaboration Commander system, you can use NFTs from across WAX to play Apex Conquest! This includes select Crew from Alien Worlds, Heroes from Realms of Arkovia, Spiderman official collectibles, and PFPs from the following collections:
- Castles NFT
- vBots
- vPunks
- Barbarians
- … and more on the way!
How do I do this, and why?
All you have to do is go to your “DECKS” screen and create a new deck. Eligible NFTs in your wallet will show up automatically! Add your troops and get to battle against the Dark Gate and earn tokens from across the WAX Metaverse!

What is Apex Conquest?
Apex Conquest has been around since the Summer of 2022 and has been bringing WAX tokens together since the beginning!
In Apex Conquest, you use Commanders with Troops to battle the Dark Gate, a bridge between worlds!
Troops are obtained by purchasing packs using any supported WAX token! These tokens are added to the “Dark Gate” contract & become available to be earned by players who attack those token pools.
Success is NOT guaranteed: your combination of Troops determines your success & carrying capacity for token loot, and these are modified by your Commander’s experience level! During each Battle, you may also lose troops, but your Commander is never at risk.
When you win, you earn a Victory Point, Experience, and tokens!
When you lose, you earn a Loss Point but neither Experience nor tokens. Troop losses are also reduced.
Commanders require Morale to battle & are recharged with Commendations — purchased using any token in our system just like Troops!
Tactics cards can optionally be added to your Decks to modify your success or carry capacity and add depth of strategy! They can be rarely obtained from Victory Point redemptions or the secondary market.

Experience Bottles — Transfer experience from one Commander to another!
Players will be able to mint an experience bottle using WAX & 11 Experience points from any Commander. They can then consume that bottle to add 10 experiences to any Commander of their choosing. The 1 experience is lost in the exchange!
This allows you to stack your benefits onto a single Commander or spread out your experience — the choice is yours!
Collaboration Commanders lose their experience when unstaked, which also serves as a way to preserve that experience if you have decided to retrieve an NFT from another collection.
Commander Reward Wheel — Spend experience to gain NFTs!
An alternative way to use experience is our new reward wheel! You’ll spend 5x Experience points from any Commander & receive a random NFT reward from Apex Conquest or our upcoming Partner Collection NFT pool!
Fortresses, Barracks, and Tactics Office
The most impressive Troops and our new multiplayer features are coming! Craft Mighty Troops using FORT token or spend your FORT to level up your Fortress with your friends! Work together to improve your Fortresses for group-based benefits.
New Tactics cards will be craftable for these new troops as well!
